We dined here on a Friday evening and had a great experience. The place was packed so it was a good thing we had reservations. The menu had a nice touch with "Happy Birthday" on it for my husbands birthday. We ordered some cocktails, an old fashioned and a "hive mind", which we both enjoyed. For meals, we had one of their specials for an appetizer, the duck ravioli, my husband ordered the tomahawk steak for his entree and I ordered the crab cakes. We both thought the duck ravioli was just okay, and were kinda relieved when our waitress asked what we thought and was happy to receive our comments. The tomahawk was delicious, as were the crab cakes. I think we would both happily order the same entrees again. The crab cakes were probably the best I've had in VA Beach. We also had two desserts that we took home, a snickerdoodle cheesecake (which was divine) and a bear claw, I believe? I wish I had taken more photos of our food because everything was so good. On top of that, my water glass was never empty, which I loved. Our waitress was super sweet and very attentive. We would happily dine here again and would recommend that you do too!

My husband and I dined at this place for my birthday and we had a wonderful experience. Our server Candace and the whole staff were attentive and friendly, making sure we felt well taken care of throughout our meal. The food was delicious, with each dish thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, creating the perfect dining experience. Highly recommend!

Time and time again Heriloom is Amazing! If you have never been- you need to! Service A, Bartender A, Food is locally sourced- fresh- beautiful presentation. If I could give it 10 ’s we would. Our experience has been this way EVERY time. Atmosphere is wonderful. Bourbon selection is outstanding. If you have never tried Heriloom, you are missing out on a top rated dining experience.

Probably the best food I’ve ever had in my life, and moscato. We got the fried chicken and the crab cakes. Plus, we showed up with our two year old not really realizing it’s a little fancier than your typical casual restaurant, but they welcomed him , had crayons and coloring sheets and our server was so good to him stopping and talking with him and bringing him oranges to hold him over. We absolutely love this place .

Love this place recommend to anyone and everyone. They have a fantastic happy hour with fantastic seasonal cocktails. The bar is always creative with a vast array of wines to complement the menu. The staff is amazing and easy to work with for special events. Really easy review to write for an amazing restaurant.

Went for a birthday celebration and hit happy hour. The drinks were top tier and well crafted, the food delicious, and service was exceptional. Ambiance was also a highlight and thoughtfully done/laid out. Will be back!

Doug ( spouse) and I tried a newer restaurant tonight that we have not been to called Heirloom Restaurant Va Beach for our 21st Wedding Anniversary. We can see why this restaurant is 5 star reviews. The staff is exceptional. The food is superb. The atmosphere is wonderful. From the moment we walked in everyone that had greeted us wished us a happy 21st wedding anniversary. It was even printed on our menus which we got to take home. When we first sat down, it was in an area that was a little louder, but still a great atmosphere, but our waitress/hostess said she just realized I had asked for a quieter atmospheric area if they had one and asked to move us. Doug had just gotten new hearing aids, made it really loud where we were sitting for him to adjust, but it was perfect when they moved us to a new spot. The couple sitting next to us had their food come out first and of course it was a beautiful fish on a plate and they told everyone yes you can get a picture because we are going to get one. I ordered scallops and jumbo crab cakes. And I critique scallops all the time and do reviews from around town and I will tell you not in the north not in the south not in the east not in the west have I tasted a better scallop in my entire life ever. I am still thinking about the scallops that I ate at this restaurant. Typically every seafood restaurant will bring you scallops that are overcooked, undercooked, gummy, chewy not seasoned, but the scallops were perfection. The jumbo crabcakes I never tasted any breading in them. I'm not even sure how they held it together because it was pure jumbo crab unless they had a little bit of egg in it. It was beautiful and again it was cooked to perfection. and all I could think about was you Christian J. Phillips if these crabcakes were in your reviews that you did. I don't even know what to say about Doug's food. He got a wedge salad, which tasted exceptional. And then they brought out the house special, which was a ribeye with baby potatoes, and seasoned carrots. When I say it was huge it was massive. And of course, the people sitting on the other side of us all asked to get a picture and we said absolutely cause we were gonna get pictures. He also agreed that his food was some of the best food that he has had. So if you're looking for an amazing place to eat, please choose this place you will not be disappointed. It is beyond exceptional Farm to table food and I promise you, you will enjoy it. Thank you to all the staff at Heirloom Restaurant!! Thank You!!

Loved it! We went for my son’s medical school graduation dinner. They were fabulous in helping us celebrate. The food was outstanding.
